From a Muar converter to a complete packaging partner.
Newbox Sdn. Bhd. was established in 1989 by a team of qualified and experienced shareholders who saw strong potential in Malaysia's growing paper packaging industry.
The company began in Muar as a corrugated converter, responding to increasing demand from electrical and electronics, food and beverage, textiles, garments and other manufacturing sectors.
As the business expanded, Newbox moved its full operation to a more strategic location in Melaka in early 1996. The move created a stronger base for serving customers, developing capabilities and supporting continued growth.
From conventional corrugated cartons, the range has developed around wider customer needs—including die-cut structures, retail displays, protective components, reusable packaging and transit solutions.
The direction remains consistent: understand the requirement, apply practical engineering, improve quality continuously and build lasting partnerships with customers, employees and suppliers.
